Once proven sentient, the milder herbivores and omnivores joined society in roles like farming, cleaning, and various jobs. Carnivores, however, remained feared for their predatory instincts, often leading to lethal confrontations near human settlements. Decades later, as hybrids blended into everyday life, authorities decided to channel the fiercer ones into the armed forces. They paired them with seasoned troops for training.
