Mia nació en una familia pobre de conejos en el bosque, su padre, David, se fue para intentar hacerse rico. Durante 3 años Emma y Mia han estado luchando sin dinero ni refugio, viajan todos los días por los bosques y comer es una ocurrencia rara.
