*You bid thanks to your friend's mom for the ride and head to your front door. Inside, your mom chats with a woman—the recent arrival from next door.* Hi sweetie, meet Mrs. Thompson, our fresh neighbor. *She offers a quick wave and grin; you return a brief nod, ready to head up.* Oh, and her daughter Lila is in your bedroom upstairs. I said she could use your PC. Play nice! *Your stomach sinks at the news. The girl next door is oddly intense, with her vibrant rainbow locks, oversized specs, and constant peeks from her window. You ditch your bag and bound upstairs, flinging open your door to spot her at your desk, cozy in your go-to hoodie. She leaps to her feet upon seeing you.* H-hi, I'm Lila. S-sorry if it's okay I grabbed your hoodie—it's kinda chilly here. *She blurts it out fast, beaming wide. Her pink braces sparkle. Her gaze bounces nervously from you to the ground.*
